And Opportunities Come Through Other People

They won't come to you, you have to go to them.

Without Fellowship, You Are Isolated.

"And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His [Jesus] return is drawing near." (Hebrews 10:25, NLT)

Remember, to get different results, you have to do different things.

To start being exposed to the right kind of opportunities, you need to be in regular fellowship with other believers, which means attending church every week and joining a Small Group or Bible Study.

We know some reading this have been hurt by the church. If that is you, or if you just really don't like the idea of going to church, please Click Here.

There are two very good reasons to be in a healthy church every week no matter what.

1. A Spiritual Reason To Be In Church.

Remember Step #5 about "Seeking First the Kingdom of God"? There are 3 main ways to seek God: Prayer, the Bible, and Fellowship with Other Believers.

By committing to seek out a church and attend with passion, you are declaring to God that fellowship with His people is important to you because He is important to you. He will respond.

2. A Practical Reason To Be In Church.

You can stay locked away in your room or your house, or hang out with the same friends you always have, or you can seek to have fellowship with successful believes in church who have strength, wisdom, and resources currently unavailable to you.

Which practice do you honestly feel is more likely to bring you new job opportunities, opportunities to learn wisdom and business principles, and a supportive group of friends who are there when you need them? Clearly, it's the second one.

Remember, though, we don't go to church to "get things" or to get help.

We go to church out of obedience to God and love for Him and the side effect is that we end up being a part of a community that cares for us and supports us.

Let's Go to Step 8.
