It's Time to Try Something Different

Jesus Made You A Promise.

He said, "Seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness, and all other things will be added to you." (Matthew 6:33)

The "other things" Jesus is talking about here are money, clothing, food, a place to stay, etc. He also said, "Your Heavenly Father knows you need them." (Matthew 6:32)

Yet, notice that Jesus' promise is conditional. He does not promise to meet all your financial needs if you are putting God second in life (and even less so if He's last).

It's really quite simple. God cares more about you than you do. And He cares more about having a good relationship with you than He does your finances.

So, God will allow you to struggle with money in order to pull you back to Him in need, until you begin putting Him first every day.

The moment you start seeking Him before all else is the moment He begins working to solve many of your problems. When you start doing this day after day, before long you will start to see results. Most people start seeing God work real transformative change in their life within a few weeks.

What does it mean to "seek God"? How do I seek Him? What do I need to do?

Let's keep going to learn the answers to those questions.
